Who is OPHR for?
OPHR stands for the “One Person Human Resources” department. If you are a department of one, or are the default “Operations” person at your company or the Finance Manager tasked to fill the role of HR too, we will be your partner in strategic human resources.
OPHR Mission
We believe HR is essential to people-centered workplaces. Our mission is to empower organizations of all sizes with affordable, easy-to-access tools to build and support an engaged workplace culture.
The Problem?
HR people are underresourced and overwhelmed, especially in smaller and scaling organizations. They may not have access to the tools and resources that large, well-funded organizations have.
They’re doing all the things, and there just isn’t time for that. HR at this level is time-consuming. We’re here to change that.
The Solution!
We have a comprehensive and robust program with interconnected resources, crafted and reviewed by leading experts in the industry — always with a DEIBA lens.
Who is OPHR for?
People-people who are doing the work, exhausted, need expert advice and support
Non-DEI experts who want to build a more diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace
Those working with limited budgets but need additional resources
Those who understand doing better business means putting people first
Why did we create OPHR?
HR Essentials
Many HR ‘teams’ are 1-person ‘teams’ with limited access to resources and best practices
Many HR teams are small, understaffed, undersupported, and underserved with resources
Many organizations don’t have anyone handling HR, and don’t know where to start
Culture-Driven
Culture is developed over time (intentionally or unintentionally) and is informed by behaviors, practices, and processes
Gentle shifts transform with conscious awareness
Meet people where they are to take them on the next step toward a healthy workplace
DEIBA at the Core
To help dismantle historical structural inequalities, particularly within the HR/People Ops and org development realm
DEI is overwhelming and we’re here to make it easier
Customized DEI transformation experiences are costly and time-consuming

Our Team
As DEI and Organizational Development Consultants, it is important for us to practice what we preach. OPHR was created from a wealth of knowledge from different HR professionals, like yourself. That is why we publish our team demographics and provide full transparency when it comes to the breakdown of each professional within our organization.
