Meet Leilani Dashner, SHRM-CP,
DEIB and Recruiting Advisor
Leilani Dashner (she/her/hers) thinks of herself first as a twin mom, then a wife, and then a passionate Diversity and Inclusion professional (in that order) who gets the frustration and confusion of working in the D&I field! Leilani believes strongly that D(iversity)+E(quity)+I(nclusion) = B(elonging), but that it can only be achieved intentionally, and is not simply an automatic process.
Leilani currently works as a Diversity & Inclusion Business Partner for a rapidly-scaling unicorn-level startup. She holds a BA in Psychology and an MBA and Human Resources Management graduate certificate. As a lifelong learner, in 2021, Leilani also obtained her SHRM-CP and a Diversity & Inclusion for HR Certificate from Cornell.
Her hobbies include reading, soapmaking, watching scary movies and saying she is going to learn to crochet, but not actually doing it.
